The Five Areas Every Blueprint Is Built Around
A full week needs more than a completed task list. This is the framework we use to see the whole picture without turning your loved one’s life into a project.
The short answer
Every Vivere Blueprint covers five connected areas — nutrition, movement, connection, purpose, and daily logistics — because established public-health and longitudinal research links each one with health or well-being in later life.123
We call them Eat Well, Move Well, Be Well, Grow Well, and Live Well. The names are simple on purpose. They give your family one practical way to see what is already working, what needs support, and what should happen first.
Eat Well
Eat Well covers meals, groceries, hydration, and the routines around them. The goal is a reliable pattern that fits your loved one’s preferences and any guidance from their clinician.
A Blueprint may identify grocery delivery, a recurring meal-preparation visit, or a nutrition appointment. Read why nutrition is part of the plan.
Move Well
Move Well covers aerobic activity, strength, balance, and mobility. CDC guidance for adults 65 and older includes all three types across each week.1
The plan might include walks, in-home training, physical therapy ordered by a clinician, or transportation to a familiar class. Read why movement is part of the plan.
Be Well
Be Well means recurring contact with family, friends, and community. Decades of Harvard adult-development research associate stronger relationships with better health and well-being.2
A name on a calendar matters more than a vague intention. The Blueprint turns connection into a repeatable part of the week. Read why connection is part of the plan.
Grow Well
Grow Well covers purpose: hobbies, mentorship, learning, faith, creative work, and legacy. A 14-year longitudinal study found that a stronger sense of purpose was associated with lower mortality risk across adulthood.3 The finding is an association, not a promise about any one person.
A Blueprint looks for the activities your loved one chooses and wants to keep choosing. Read why purpose is part of the plan.
Live Well
Live Well covers the practical system around the other four areas: home upkeep, errands, paperwork, transportation, and care coordination. When those tasks have an owner, plans for meals, movement, connection, and purpose are easier to keep.
This is also where one local, accountable person changes the week for a family coordinating from a distance. Read why a smoothly run household is part of the plan.
How the five areas become a written plan
During the Home & Lifestyle Audit, we listen, observe, and document priorities across all five areas. Your Blueprint then sets out what gets handled, in what order, and what family members will and won’t be told.
Some families keep the Blueprint and coordinate it themselves. Others ask a Vivere concierge to manage it. See the full three-step process.
